A little background

I was trying to create my blog. To get some design motivation, I checked out some of the blogs on the internet. Now you might say that I am a lousy designer for taking inspiration from others and not relying on my instinct, and I can't disagree with you on that. For most of my career as a developer, I have been working on backend tasks, so really I am not that exposed to what is considered a good v/s what is considered a bad design. So spare me on that.

But in the process of checking out some blogs, I realized that hero-images are really good way to highlight the crux of your essay. So, I created this tool to standardize the process of creating hero images for my articles. When I showed it to a friend of mine, he also loved this tool. So I decided to make it public.

Why should I use this tool?

Sure, there are awesome tools out there like Canva or Figma where you can do just all these things, but personally I don't prefer to use them for hero images for my blog, because: (1) they are an overkill for such an easy task, and (2) these tools provide a lot of unnecessary customization, and I find them overwhelming.
